Kiplinger's Personal Finance App Reviews

I was surprised by the low rating in this. How can this be its just an online access to the magazine. Found out first hand. I can login from web page (assuming I can find the right web page). But cannot login from app. Cannot believe a leading personal finance magazine has such a poor app and online access. Looks like they are counting on non digital subscribers. Its too bad.

Too complex. Too many subscriptions, too many adds, hard to download or view magazines. I am getting frustrated and probably wont resubscribe. The service is designed for older people, so make it simple. One year later, still doesnt work.

I strongly agree with #1and #2 reviews. Subscription payment was collected from my account but can not sign in. Personal Finance magazine not downloaded at all. Really frustrating. I regret subscribing. No plan to renew after a year, if only I can cancel it (subscription has not started yet).

I got this app shortly after I subscribed to Personal Finance. I cannot login using the app on my iPhone but the same credentials get me into the site from Firefix on my mac. And it obviously isnt just me. Fix the app, guys!!

Apparently its not possible to have print And electronic issues.

Unable to login, period. You must register another account with the app developer. Your account with Kiplingers wont work. Too complicated!

Been a subscriber for years and just assumed I could log online for issues. Not so. Why?

Waste of money if you intend to read on your phone or iPad

Terribly disappointed with this ap. It does not work on my iPad even with correct entry of the required info. Called Kiplingers customer support and got no help. If I had known this, I would not have subscribed as I read "on the go" on my mobile device.

App is awful. From it, you cannot download issues with a digital subscription (only solution is to download from website and save to iBooks). Just spoke to customer service and he claims that the magazine does not have an app!!!!!

I paid for a years subscription, which includes digital access and the paper magazine. Why can I not access content in this app? It wont let me log in. The only option seems to be signing up for another subscription

If you are looking for an app to download digital version of your printed edition, you are out of luck with this app. You options are to buy another subscription through this app or download pdf versionfrom Kiplingers website and view it on iBooks. Kiplingers can do better !

Seems silly to have to pay a price for print and digital. If you are a current print subscriber, digital should be at no additional charge. Get on board with everyone else.

One of the few Magazines that are still trying to charge you separately for digital and print copies. Seriously get with the times, everyone else including your competitors provide free digital copies with print subscriptions.

The app wont let you use your existing subscription to view digital copies. Not worth the download until you can use existing subscription.

I will not pay for a hard copy, only to be forced to pay for a digital copy. Ill go looking for other financial magazines and not pay you for either.

This is a terrible thing to do to a great magazine. The app which is clumsy and has a poor layout features nothing more than a scanned copy of the magazine. There isnt even a table of contents. DO NOT WASTE TIME!

I cant believe you cant use your print subscription here. When my print renewal comes up, I guess Ill be looking for another publication that combines the two. Very disappointing.

Cant access digital copy of magazine with your print subscription. You must pay for each separately.
